BIO:
Kristen M. Baylis is the director of practice and knowledge management and is based in the firm’s Denver office. In this role, Kristen oversees and coordinates the work of the firm’s knowledge management attorneys and practice and industry group coordinators. Kristen works closely with practice and industry group leaders to identify the specific knowledge management needs of each group and to leverage knowledge management assets across practice, industry and client services groups. Kristen develops, executes and leads a unified strategic knowledge management vision and operations plan for the firm. Prior to becoming director of practice and knowledge management, Kristen was the knowledge management attorney for the firm’s Workplace Training group.
In her role, Kristen draws upon her years of experience practicing in the areas of employment litigation and preventive advice and counsel. Additionally, Kristen brings to the role knowledge and insight into the federal courts gained while serving as a judicial clerk to the Honorable Patrick Michael Duffy, United States District Judge for the District of South Carolina, Charleston Division. Prior to joining Jackson Lewis, Kristen was an attorney at a large Carolinas firm, practicing in the area of employment litigation and counseling.
