Beth Kunkel is the Director of Knowledge Management at Ballard Spahr, where she leverages over a decade of experience in knowledge management and innovation. 

With a unique blend of technical, legal, and project management skills, Beth has been a driving force in transforming legal operations. 

A licensed attorney in NY and NC, she transitioned from practicing law to focus on the business side in 2012. 

During her tenure at Smith Anderson, North Carolina’s largest business and litigation law firm, Beth pioneered the firm's KM and Innovation program, designing its first data warehouse and custom experience management system. 

Her initiatives enhanced strategic pricing, matter management, and integrated financial systems. 

At Ballard Spahr, she collaborates with leaders across Innovation, Pricing, and Business Development to advance the firm’s knowledge management practices.
