As DLA Piper’s first Chief Knowledge Officer, Barbara is responsible for developing and implementing a Knowledge strategy that helps the firms’ lawyers practice smarter by optimizing the collective knowledge of the firm. 

She is also responsible for a variety of legal practice transformation initiatives including the adoption of generative AI. Barbara leads the Knowledge Department which includes the Knowledge Management, Technology, Resources and Research Services teams.
